How it  all begin.

On my 32nd birthday I wanted to do something fun and frugal to get the word out about my  new found ways to save money and penny pinch.I decided it was time to start a blog on my new passion to save money and to be a better steward of my finances.

So I clipped some coupons and went to the nearest Walgreens ...and this blog began. Not many people really understand how much they can save if they just coupon.

I have blogged since 2005 when I moved to Austin,TX but I decided that I wanted to write on the things which I am passionate about.



May 2013 I decided to invite my cousin and friend Tasha  to join me since she loves to shop and save.

The so so "Truly Awesome Homestyle Chocolate Chip Cookies

So much has been going on so I haven't written in a few months. So here is the skinny. I found this awesome website http://www.bzzagent.com/. They have these campaigns where they send you items to try. I got these in the mail tonight and decided to try them straight out of the box.. YUCK!.. they were nasty cold, hard and tasted like butter cardboard. I learned quickly they are best popped in the microwave for 30 seconds with some vanilla ice cream. This makes for a warm chewy cookie.

Wally's World of Coupon Fun -

There have been some great deals out there in the past month. I got to teach a lady how to shop at Walmart with coupons. We bought 8 items for only 8.61 cents. Everything was purchased had a coupon associated with it. 1.We had a coupon for Suave Professionals Conditioner 32floz - final cost FREE 2.Plus Carefree had a .94cent coupon so they were FREE. 3.Carefree Pantyliners body shape 22 count final cost FREE 4.We had a dollar off for the eggs from www.coupon.com so they were only .62cents 5.There was also a $2.00 coupon for the razors so their total was 1.47 6. mouth wash coupon was .75 cents off of 4.00 7. sausage .55 coupon. total savings - $11.94 I want to put a 30 day challenge! Everything you purchase has to be with a coupon. I was driving and thinking about this. In our society there is so much emphasis on how much we spend on this car, that purse, etc that we lost sight that GOD gives us prosperity to do great works with and not to spend frivolously on things tha...

SAFEWAY Private Selection - Desserts Only for me!

So I'm a buzzagent and I'm buzzing about the SAFEWAY Private Selection products... YEAH YUMMY FREE!..but hold up not as good as I would have hopped for.... I'm a chicken-a-holic... so I went with the bar-b-que pizza and the southwestern style chicken trumpets ( 7.69$) for 8. They were not good at all it was like stale chicken and not worth the price. I wouldn't necessarily purchase the pizza or trumpets again based upon the taste, price, or quantity. Honestly the desserts are worth the money! I have a sweet tooth!.. clearly! I loved the vanilla creme puffs and the chocolate lava cakes!
