I have to admit. I was an impulsive buyer. I saw something I wanted and had to have it. That type of instantaneous microwave generation way of thinking is the same thing that got me into debt once. Thus I realize that it has to stop. No more spending money frivolously on things which have no quality based upon an emotional impulse which will subside in an hour. The high of buying something on an outward appearance. My new motto on any and everything is ="If it can't be bought with a coupon, I don't need it!." There are things that I would love to have that can not be bought with a coupon of course, like my own home and luxury car of my choice. With time and savings I will be able to have those things. Good things come to those who wait and are patient. So I realize that I'm going to get myself in order financially and live off half of my income. The price was right today because the price = FREE. One of the ways I have been cutting costs is through taking surveys. If I go to a fast food restaurant one of the things I noticed is that some of them have survey's on the back. The survey usually gets you some form of free food for taking it. Today was Arby's I took an online survey (you can also take it via phone). Today was a free Beef N' Cheddar. This weekend I went out to take out the trash and what do you know I found a 32-inch Emprex HD-3201D TV I also found a six drawer cart near the dumpster. I guess it doesn't sell much anymore at Fry's or any other store for that matter. It retailed between $400-800 in it's hay day. This brand is known for the defect in the power supply. It appears it was manufactured in 2005. I am going to replace both the power supply and the tuner. I found out that I will have to pay only 50-60$ for a power supply on ebay. I have set this as my May 2011 Project. Some people don't like dumpster diving, they think that it's dirty or that it's for the poor.
