We back to business

 

Hey guys,  

Distractions come in your life and deter you from the things you love.  Here I am back at doing what I love. Saving and writing.  Over the course of the past 6 years so many things have changed with me personally however the frugal in me stays the same. I don't think that will ever change! 

    So inflation is showing us all who is boss. With an open market companies can charge whatever for a product they are selling. However I feel like the gas and food prices are price gauging. With that being said. I look forward to utilizing the skills I learned the first recession I went through as an adult to get me through whatever this is.  ðŸ‘Š

Keurig KCup Craigslist Catastrophe turns into love

Let me first say I have been wanting a Keurig since they came out. I don't drink a lot of coffee but I do love tea and hot chocolate. I was so fascinated by a demonstration that I was given at a Macy's during Christmas. Anywho I went on Craigslist to find one since I am frugal and don't like paying full price for anything. It retails at $149 at Walmart http://www.walmart.com/ip/Keurig-B60-Special-Edition-Brewer-and-Choice-of-K-Cups-Beverage-Bundle/20693072. Let me tell you I had my first bad experience on Craigslist. I saw an ad for a brand new Keurig for $50. Only paying 33% with no taxes seemed like a great win a savings of 67%. I met the lady and for some reason I should have known something was wrong. As soon as I opened the item upon getting it home it looked brand new. I should have known better when trying to plug it in I saw the cord was severely scorched to the core and the item didn't work.
