LATE POST WARNING: I WON THIS MARCH 27, 2012
During SXSW2012 I pretty much signed up for everything because:
1. I like to party 2.) I like to win... in that order.
I was at work working on something random when I received an email from Gavin & the Barupay Team. I have always thought that the winning wasn't real, that it was for "other people." Well I became the other people! the lucky people, and it feels GREAT to be on the winning side.
I received my IPAD II on March 31, 2012. I took one of my closest friends Pete. It was a fun day! I WON I WON I WON... To be honest with you at first I didn't think I deserved something so nice.
I looked so happy didn't I.
Well two months after I received my Ipad I was getting out of my car when something startled me. There was a guy sleeping in his car. I FREAKED OUT and dropped my bag. My ipad was in it. Why was he sleeping in his car? I'm always curious as to that.
I have been really disappointed in myself that I dropped it but what can you do? It is still functional.
Unfortunantly I didn't have Apple + Care because I didn't know about that.
So here I am with a beautiful item which is somewhat damaged.
I'm just grateful for the win. I'm a techy so I LOVE LOVE LOVE new items and learning how they function. Here I was worried so much about getting stolen but it got damaged instead that should have been my true worry. It has a function on it from icloud that tells me where it is at all times.
So still grateful but hoping I can get it fixed soon.
